Welcome to Dandee Incorporated (“Dandee,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting the privacy of homeowners and contractors who use the Dandee app and/or website (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the Dandee Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use shall control.

By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and agree that Dandee may collect, use, and share information as described herein. This Privacy Policy applies to all users, visitors, and account holders of the Service.

1. Information Collection

Dandee Incorporated (“Dandee,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects certain information from users of the Service to provide and improve the platform. Personal information may include your name, address, email, or phone number. For billing purposes, we may receive limited payment information such as payment confirmation and the last four digits of your credit or debit card; all payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers, and Dandee does not store full credit card or bank account numbers. Contractors may provide business details, insurance information, or trade licenses. For tax purposes, contractors receive earnings summaries and downloadable documents to share with their tax professional; Dandee does not collect Social Security Numbers, prepare taxes, or file taxes on behalf of contractors. Users may also provide calendar preferences or connect calendars to the Service.

Dandee may collect usage information including device type, operating system, app interaction data and analytics, IP address, and location data if permission is granted. Users may communicate through the Service via in-app messages, notes, requests, or instructions submitted through the platform. With your permission, the app may access certain device features including the camera, microphone, or photo library, but only to facilitate user-initiated uploads, recordings, or messaging. You may enable or disable these permissions at any time in your device settings, and Dandee only accesses such content when you actively choose to use these features.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for research, analytics, marketing, and advertising purposes, including displaying ads from third-party partners, without linking such information to any individual user.

To protect your privacy and minimize risk, Dandee does not collect or store full credit card or bank account numbers, completed tax filings, sensitive personal details such as race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or biometric identifiers, unnecessary location tracking outside of job matching (if enabled by you), or any background check information beyond insurance and license verification required for platform compliance. Dandee does not collect or sell social media credentials, health information, or any information unrelated to the operation of the Service.

2. Use of Information

We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and improve the Dandee Service. This includes matching homeowners with qualified contractors, scheduling and managing appointments, facilitating payments and providing access to tax-related documents, delivering customer support, and enhancing functionality and the overall user experience. We may also use aggregated, non-personally identifiable information for analytics, research, and reporting purposes to better understand trends and improve our platform. Dandee does not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes, except in connection with in-app advertising, sponsorships, or other promotional opportunities that directly benefit Dandee or our users. Dandee may use aggregated or anonymized data to serve advertisements or for research and analytics purposes. No personally identifiable information will be shared with third parties for independent marketing without your consent. Dandee is not responsible for actions taken by third-party advertisers or analytics providers. Finally, we may use or disclose information as necessary to comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests by public authorities.

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Dandee may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service, analyze usage patterns, and enhance your experience. These technologies help us understand user behavior, personalize content, and optimize functionality.
